Musk is now President. Vice-President Trump does what he says. Musk lets Trump pretend he is actually running things. For now. Everyone thinks that Trump will dump Musk if he gets too much of the spotlight but he can’t. Musk is the brains. Trump is only the brawn. It’s probably too late for America now. Sadly.
Maybe. Trump likes to win. He knows his time is limited. I think his biggest triumph will be to somehow fuck over the richest man in the world. If he taxes Musk's obscene wealth and somehow uses the money (after taking some off the top) to pay America's bills and fix the social safety net we all can win (even if our win is simply an unintended consequence.
